The same with Martin's comments. True, he never actually said the words," scared" but thats exactly what he was implying by saying," I don't think they really want to play us."

All he said was they don’t want to play, they won’t return our phone calls. Period.
What if one assumes that to mean LSU knows they’re athletic program is well above the Cajuns and doesnt want to associate with them? Would that be a wrong assumption?

“I called Will when he got the job; I didn’t ask him right then about playing, but I have since then and they’re not interested,” he said. “They probably didn’t want to play this game, to be honest.”

Of course they didn’t. If they don’t want to schedule regular season game, why would they want to play a post season game??

Marlin had zero business opening his big mouth about anything. If he wanted to write or call the NIT and complain ..then fine. He was a bitch and everyone except ULaLa and GG know it. Wade is in his 1st year at LSU and didn’t jump at the chance to schedule ULaLa? Awww. I bet there were many teams he passed on. Wade has had a lot on his plate turning the program around...which means trying to accommodate piss ant programs like ULaLa is way down on his list.

Not what he said. He said ttthe three year rolling average of the teams LSU played is much stronger than those miserable fricks that don’t play anyone.
That USL teams finishes last or second to last in the SEC.
UH, Michigan, VCU all have better rolling averages by a mile than USL.
IT IS NOT ABOUT THE RPI ALONE FOR THE LAST TIME! Damn. I do not understand how you sorry fricks cannot understand that. It’s about WHO YOU PLAY AND BEAT. LSU was 7-7 against tournament teams. How good was USL in that category?
