1.) We haven't attempted to make ourselves more "unique" by connecting our mascot to the civil war because THAT'S WHERE IT ORIGINALLY COMES FROM.
2.)Your inferiority complex is showing. You admit that LSU's colors and tailgating "represent Louisiana" though you also feel the need to say the same for USL. The whole post is an attempt to diminish LSU's identity, so why try and equate your school?
3.)"We try to do it with class." Enough said.
4.) LSU represents Louisiana because when the rest of the planet (outside of Laffy) thinks of this state they think of LSU. We represent Louisiana through the academics and athletics that ULL so enviously wishes they too had. To say that LSU doesn't represent Louisiana shows the delusional bias you hold for a community college that attempts to "represent" Louisiana in claiming what that school in Monroe could also. The difference is that they don't let a complex cloud their judgement.

If they were so concerned with being a double directional,why didnt they drop one? They could have been the university of south Louisiana and kept same initials, or clean break and be west(ern) Louisiana

Dave Schultz is still ranting about the basketball game, specifically a comment that was "supposedly" made about Waters. Something to the effect of a ULL coach calling him an "underrated short midget". Schultz saying he didn't get that from a coach, and that he probably got it from the fans or TigerDroppings.
The ringmaster Schultzy reads TigerDroppings, folks. I bet he's bigtom.
