Does anyone know of any decent fishing in the area? Seems like any bodies of water are few and far between.

It's pretty dry out there.

There are a few lakes around San Angelo, but I'd go South to Amistad.

I think I saw a few water treatment ponds at some locations that may have a bream in them.

If I remember correctly there’s like a quarter acre “pond” that I saw heading from midland to Odessa on the left side of the interstate. It’s been a year so it’s a little fuzzy.

Lakes? Seriously, around Midland?

I have a brother who lives there, once he told me it had been raining in Midland and I thought I'd be a smartass and asked if he took his kids out to show them what rain was. He said he did.

I can remember leaving Odessa after working there for about a year and finally crossing a river. I slowed down just to look at it for a minute.
