ne alone doesn't have the affect desired. Several policies coinciding gets you to where you want to be. We just need to make a few slight adjustments and we'd be fine
I thought the police were suppose to protect...
how does this possibly happen when police are on the streets?

But more deaths will be a result. On both sides. Moreso on the victims side, as the criminal has the element of suprise
you cannot say this with any level of certainty. What if its the criminal who is surprised? What if he gets greased in the assault? Thugs doing thug shite cause no one can defend themselves. Give the defensless guns and I'll wager you the thugs stop thugging.

Sudan is such a lovely country with The Australian: More home invasions as Melbourne’s youth gang crisis worsens A man has been sent to hospital following a violent robbery in Melbourne’s west allegedly conducted by two people of African appearance. Two men allegedly entered the Footscray home before 11pm last night with some reports saying they had knifes and baseball bats. “They were disrupted by the sole occupant, a man in his 20s, who was subsequently assaulted with an unknown item,” a police spokeswoman said. Image Link Ashraf Mohamed sits on a bed Ashraf Mohamed has been thrown out of home. (ABC News) He was kicked out of home on the eve of starting year 12 and dreamt of being an airline pilot. Sadly, no-one in his young life had ever been interested enough to ask him about his inner thoughts. But I was. He showed me his temporary crisis accommodation and we hung out as he attempted to sort his life out. I got a frontline insight into his experience and this complex problem. You don't get that story by rocking up with a security guard.
So is all of europe.....

quote: its pretty much shown by statistic that the gun bans dont really lessen murder rates. Harsher penalties and being tougher on crime deter at a far greater rate. A gun in a victims home at least gives them the ability to fight back. Citation needed
I did some research a while back on countries with low crime rate that ban guns. The thing that i found that all of those countries had in common was 2 things. Very very strict sentencing for crimes. See China and what was going to happen to those basketball players in China when they got caught stealing. (Those boys were gonna learn today) had it not been for intervention at the last minute. So that and horrid living conditions in prisons. Those two things along add to the low crime in those countries, not banning guns imo.
