You would think a golf city like Augusta would have more fitting options. Looks like I'll have to make a trip to atlanta.

Augusta is not a golf city, or a good city for that matter.
It just happens to be where a really nice golf course is located.

not a golf city? it's entire existence is built around a golf tournament. The amount of courses in the area is way above average for city of this size. Your statement is outdated and clear that you have never lived here, or havent visisted in a while.
No need to bash my home city, but Augusta is on the way up for sure. A lot of investment downtown over the past year. $1.5 Billion +.

I'm waiting to see how Bandit likes Bebu.
Why, we know what he is going to do. Get fit, talk shite, buy new clubs, play them for 4 months and buy new ones.

Newly fitted Rouge Sub Zero and 714 AP1s with a Vokey setup.
Once I shake the winter off, I'll probably go back to Bebu for iron fitting.

Golf city is St Augustine, Scottsdale, Pinehurst, Rochester. People travel to these areas for golf and atmosphere. 90% of golf tourism occurs one week in Augusta.
Larger "golf metros" like Austin, Portland, Columbus, Vegas, Orlando, etc.

No, it won’t instantly make you a good golfer

make swinging easier?
Not really, but it does make it easier to get you in the best position to make a good strike.
If you can’t break 90 with your old clubs, fitting won’t help you much. But if your clubs are ill fitted now it will make it easier for you to repeat your swing.

I disagree. If your clubs are too short or long or you just have the complete wrong shaft, that could be causing you mishits

What’s the pricing for Golftec?
Posted on 3/13/18 at 9:15 am to Toula
90% of golf tourism may occur in one or two week surrounding the tournament, but this city is golf crazy year round.
It just seemed odd to me that a city of less than half a mill with 40+ courses didn't have better fitting options. Not sure why you felt the need to take out all your anger on Augusta when it is very clear you don't know much about it.

If I remember correctly, Golftec was
$100 for Driver
$200 for entire bag

That's less than I thought it would be. I'll have to look into it.

Yeah, it's obviously a better deal to do full bag, but I wasn't in the position to do all of it, and I hit my irons pretty good so I didn't have to do all of them.
Really enjoyed doing the fitting.. pretty cool to see all the launch monitor info and to see your shots on the simulator. Worth it IMO.

Do they waive that fee if you purchase clubs?
Posted on 3/13/18 at 10:55 am to CoachChappy
They did not when I did it, unfortunately. Unless that’s changed I don’t think they do.
Posted on 3/13/18 at 11:01 am to SBvital
That's some BS right there. They are going to make their money on marking up the clubs form the manufacturer. Unless they are giving you the clubs at cost, they shouldn't be charging or at least a bunch of places do not.
Posted on 3/13/18 at 11:40 am to CoachChappy
Don't quote me on this, because I didn't look too too hard, but I THINK my driver was lower than MSRP because they ordered it strait from Callaway.
So it was more expensive, but not as much as paying a flat 100+ extra for the driver.
