Lack of context is your friend. if you're trying to be "technically honest" while being both disrespectful and misleading.
W. and Clinton traveled to Charlotte to pay respects while his body was in repose.
H.W. cannot attend due to health.
Carter's wife is in surgery.
Obama's literally the only one that didn't specify why they couldn't attend. In the spirit of full disclosure, he did send condolences and this is not the only public figure he has missed the funerals for (including Ali and Nancy Reagan). Still, Obama is the only one that might rate being worthy of people's ire on here based on reasoning and the fact that two of the Presidents have already visited.

You have zero clue what’s going on in any of these peoples lives. Their decision not to go to a funeral is just not important. Demonizing then because you feel like they need to make a symbolic gesture with zero practical implications is silly.
Who cares what ex Presidents do? They don’t have any obligations or ceremonial roles. They’re civilians. If they don’t want to fly to North Carolina, why does anyone care?

It's shameful that the others couldn't be bothered to be there. Carter is older and not in the best of health. But what is W's and BHO's excuse?!?! hillbilly doesn't need to show up anywhere.
