Guy Picks Up Wrong Kid at International School

So apparently some guy went to pick up his 2 year old relative and got the wrong kid. So the mom of that kid showed up and their kid was gone and nobody could explain it. How does a school let that happen when the child is 2? I’d be pulling my kids out if I had them there. Just shitty administration all around.

I picked up a Chinese kid like this once by mistake. Turns out she looks just like my own kid when your intoxicated.

Damn my kid's school checks id against an approved list that my wife and I provided. Eventually some employees have gotten to know my parents but my dad tells me when it's a new person they always ask. My child is 10.

If this is the one in baton rouge, that's weird..
They grilled the hell out of me and ran my ID when I picked up a friend's kid..
I wasn't upset, I was happy they went through the process..

I'm confused. He didn't recognize that he was taking the wrong kid? It's his relative, and he didn't know what the kid looked like?

When I pick up my kids other random kids come to me and say daddy. So I’m guessing this guy got the kid who came to him. I was told he hasn’t seen this “nephew” in a long time. I don’t know their exact relationship but maybe they kids looked alike and he just picked one. I can’t fathom this myself either but the mom was in the office screaming and wanting to call the cops. He even brought the kid to the mom and she was screaming that’s not my kid. So if you have your kids in school there I’d ask for details. Sounds like an easy mistake that could have gone very wrong fast.

Went to pick up my friend’s little sister once and we got to the carpool and they asked who I was blah blah.
So we leave and the mom gets a call AFTERWARDS.. I’m like well if you were gonna do that don’t you think it prudent to call BEFORE you let this kid leave with a stranger? What if I wasn’t who I said I was?

International School in Baton Rouge. The kid was around 2-3.
