Honda Pioneer has came in and dominated the domestic market for home, farm, ranch, and light industry models. Polaris is just the first in line to reinvent a more accepted model to try and cut into the monopoly Honda has on it. I'm sure Can-am, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and others are following suit. Case in point Exxon America alone ordered 50,000 Pioneer units in the last 2 years.

Honda is in third place in market share of side by sides since 2011.
And their pioneer 1000 has been a technical nightmare....because the clutches grenade every 10ft. Good try though Honda sales guy
Tell the good people of the OB about the product improvement campaigns Honda makes you sign before you buy. That the cab comfort campaign is such a problem because it will get above 140 degrees in the cab.
Or the upper clutch campaign, which states in the fine print, that even if they replace it, it may still go out...wiping out the trans in the process.
Tell them that. Or are you gonna blindly scream buy Honda?

Haven't heard too many good things about Honda side by sides. Polaris has problems and would generally refer to them as turds, but seem to be the best turd in the side by side race. I think they're just too much of a good thing. There's a line between "UTV" and "Light Truck" and I think they've just gotten over that line.

Honda pioneer 1000 are great bikes. I know over a dozen people who has them including myself. Although we are not dumbasses who intentially ride in deep water with 35 inch tires. I have a boat for that.
I know a few of those bikes with thousands of miles on them with no trouble. I also know of people that ride the same way with belt driven bikes that had to change out belts already from normal wear and tear.
