Agreed.
Hopefully this is political suicide for those two as well. Any former police chief that calls the AR15 an assault rifle is a political pawn.

Moreno is a Dem from New Orleans. Politicking for AR ban won't hurt her at all. Landry is a Dem from New Iberia...not sure of the local politics over there as to whether he'll lose votes over there.
