Demolishing buildings is relatively cheap. It's the property that's expensive.

FYI, the mall was reported to be up for sale in August for 4 million dollars, Pennys sold for 845K recently so I suspect the other anchor stores aren't in the 4 million dollar price tag.

How much could engineering and wetlands mitigation cost at the Fairgrounds?
