Look at your dec page (if you have UM) and see how much UM coverage costs versus liability. It’s a fraction. Carriers don’t like it because the premium is less but they still have to have the limits in reserve. I’m on the hunt for that smoking gun document from the carrier to the agents telling them to steer folks away.

She’s talking about UMPD to cover damage to your vehicle from uninsured driver if you don’t have collision coverage. If you have collision coverage, that covers damage to your vehicle caused by uninsured drivers too.

Boosie is talking about regular UM, which covers injury caused by uninsured or drivers without high enough limits
