That’s 6 position groups where we will be better in 2018 than we were in 2017. The only spots where we take a step back are RB, OLB, and CB. Those groups aren’t devoid of talent either, they are just replacing extremely talented players.

Every upgrade you've noted is addition by subtraction. Basically, you hope the new players will be better, but don't actually know.

So adding Shelvin and Fehoko to the DL is addition by subtraction?

Adding 2 5 star recruits, 2 4 star recruits, and Giles to the WR group is addition by subtraction?

I don't think you have much of an interest in being honest on this topic

No, it’s not hope. It’s educated assumptions. When your marginal starters leave and they are replaced by more talented players, the position is upgraded.

There is no question that Brennan/Narcisse > than Etling.

WR=hope for sure but I forgot about Giles in my post and he makes the argument even better that this group will be better. Not to mention, better QB benefits the WRs.

My OL take onlybtalks about the players that are returning and like I mentioned, it can’t be any worse than the start of last year.

DL is also fact. Alexander was better than Gilmore the past 2 seasons and Aranda said Fehoko is better than Lawrence. I don’t think Aranda would say shite like that without it being true.

ILB- taylor was better than Alexander last year so that’s an obvious upgrade.

Safety- even you agree that this group is better.
