If you don't think man is naturally more evil today than 40 years ago, just look at statistics,
Statistics for violent crime as a whole have dropped significantly over the last 40 years.

This is another reason for my OP.

Not only are the school shootings absurdly spiked with no discernable logistical reason........they are spiked in CONFLICT with general data on violence.

I sincerely think we need to examine more closely how we are raising children because CLEARLY, they are demonstrating they are less equipped to deal with stress than their predecessors.

I mean shite, there have been weirdo outcasts since the dawn of time. I want people to study this shite because we are fricking up HUGE somehow

The evil we are seeing on the rise is not an overall rise in violence, it’s the rise in a callousness and total disregard for human life. People do not view human life as sacred. It’s cheap. Has no meaning. And thus, human life can be thrown away at a whim. We are a godless people, lost and blind to the point we don’t even know what we don’t know. We’re fools who have only fooled ourselves into thinking we’re wise. We reject wisdom and instead accept foolishness that only leads to perdition and destruction. That’s the evil we face today, our own evil.

Only following a meteoric increase the preceeding 15 years or so: FBI UCS Crime Reports 1960-2016 (scroll down for rates per 100,000 population)

I find this data particularly interesting, since I was born in 1960. The odds of being murdered are about the same now as then, but a lot of that is related to the advanced medical technology keeping people alive following violent assaults that would have killed them 58 years ago. In comparison, check out the rates for other forms of violent crime:

Armed robbery: 58% increase
Aggravated assault: 288% increase
Forcible rape: 308% increase

The bad news is that there has been a recent uptick in all of these crimes in the last 3 years. Hopefully it doesn't become a trend.
