Im addicted to just doing express disembarkation and walking off early...the madness at both of those ports getting off the ship is a cluster
NOLA is consistently thought of as one of the best embarkation ports in the country. Getting on a boat in NOLA - especially at Erato - is insanely simple and easy.
Getting OFF a boat in NOLA is maddening and horrific.
It's crazy.

What are some good tips to make getting off the boat better in Nola?

We didn't have any issues yesterday, we carried our luggage off the ship, it probably took us 20 minutes from walking off the ship to getting in the truck.

We didn’t make any specialty restaurants, the food was ok but not great.
Norwegian’s specialty restaurants are awesome (with some even operating at lunch time) and I believe there’s a package for only like $100/person for unlimited specialty dining.
