LSU Baseball Gameday! Getting ready for a 4th season of BPB

Now is as good a time as any, so I wanted to let everyone know that I'm planning to do another season of BPB as much as I can. For those unfamiliar with this, during every baseball game, someone who's watching will post what happens in the game thread, so that people who can't watch have a way to follow the action. This has been a TD tradition since long before I joined. I don't know the entire history, but liquid rabbit nominated me as his successor after he took over from Gmorgan. I acted as a sub during the end of 2014, and became the main BPB guy at the start of the 2015 season.

Of course, I won't be able to do it every game. BPB is something that requires full attention, and it's tougher than people may think from just reading it. So whether I'm at the game or just can't do it for whatever reason, I will need subs from time to time. I'll do my best to mention it in advance whenever something comes up, since I do have a few things planned during the season.

I made a PSA thread about this during the CWS last year, so I might as well bring it up here too, since it applies for any game: If you're using TD to keep up, reading through the whole game thread can get confusing, especially during bigger games that will have a lot of posts in between. The best way is to follow the post history of whoever is doing BPB for that particular game. Here's mine:

I'll usually make a new post for each at bat, a pitching change, and between half innings. Refreshing every so often will give you each pitch, reading bottom to top. I can't say exactly how a sub would do it, but they'll probably follow a similar pattern.
