Henrik Stenson.
I was watching him and his group practice on the Tuesday before the 2015 Open at St. Andrews. He bombed a 3/4 iron off the tee and I couldn't follow the flight of the ball. I just said out loud "where did that go?" and he turned around and told me I better get my glasses adjusted. We all laughed and I told him to wait until he gets to be my age and see how that works out for him.
On the same hole he and his group were walking down the fairway and he was the only one of his group to walk the ropes and sign autographs for everyone. He held up his group he was signing so many autographs.
The best part of the story is I told our hostess at our B&B later that night about my interaction with Stenson. She said he and his family stayed with her during a previous Open at St. Andrews and that "he was a very nice young man". I just had to laugh....small world...

Jackie Slater
Sat across the aisle from him on a plane from Orange County to Phoenix. Great guy, chatted with everybody within 4 rows about football, other sports and life in general. He asked me who my team was and I said the Saints. He sorta shivered and mumbled "Dome Patrol....I hated playing those guys." I asked him who was the hardest guy to block that he ever played against and he said it was Jack Youngblood. Had to play against him every day in practice.

I know an ex deep snapper/backup TE. He's a douchebag but since he's the only one I know he's the coolest by default.
BK?

Got to meet Bob Griese and Fran Tarkenton a little over 20 years ago. They were both super nice guys. I was a huge Dolphins fan when I was a kid, so meeting Griese was super cool.

A friend of mine in HS - her dad did tons of work at Robert Horry's house so I went over there with the gf at the time and he was surprisingly pretty cool.
George Foreman on a redeye from LAX to HOU. I sat in the aisle across from him and he was super incognito
Warren Moon was a d-bag and Evander Holyfield was a double dbag the two times I've seen him. Can't really blame them though b/c they have adoring fans everywhere.

Saw Parker Bugg in an airport one time. Gave him a "Geaux Tigers" and he said "hell yeah." He plays for the Minor League team in Greensboro NC. That's all I've got.

Muhammed Ali
Sam Snead
Jerry Rice
Archie
Biggest a-hole I've met was, by far, Pete Rose.

George Foreman is very nice. Hakeem Olajuwon is nice but I wouldn't say cool.

I'm the one who wrecked Hope Solo. That thing was a pretty little cat before I got in there.

Met Adrian Peterson the year the Super Bowl was in New Orleans. He was incredibly nice and took pictures for anyone who asked.
Spent a weekend at a small B&B while Evander Holyfield and his mistress were also staying there. He was one of the stupidest people I have ever spoken with. His stories did not make much sense and he would forget what he was talking about often. Rough sport.
He also referred to his mistress as his “fiancé” and explained that even though they were not engaged, he would one day get divorced and marry this lady.

I got to meet John Daly back in high school at a pro am tournement. Ian Poulter was there too but I didn't get to talk to him. I've gotten to talk to David Toms a couple of times at football games through the years.
I had classes at LSU with abunch of current nfl guys. 1 year I had Odell and Jarvis in my math class but that was before they were starters
