The chapter 3 thing about the idea going into being delusional was a complete mind frick with the guy cutting his leg off. Almost makes me wanna do acid again just to watch.

Alrighty then. That dance scene had some of the same choreography as the fight scenes in BvS.

I loved that episode. I may just be prisoner of the moment, but I liked that better than any episode from last season.

Eta: shite, thought that was the end.

Wow. What a great episode. This show is gold, and I wish it was more popular. I just hope they continue to show him using his powers more this season, because I feel like we only got a taste of it last season.

The production value is just incredible. It's off the charts for a tv show.

Loved the episode. They did a great job of transitioning from season 1 to season 2 and setting up the premise for the new season. I would imagine that not everyone is going to be onboard with David’s mission to help the Shadow King return to his body. Future Syd sending the orb was very unexpected. Loved the idea of David making her an instrument to always be able to find him and it seemingly working even through time. Why is Syd having to look for him in the past? What happened to future David? Is he dead? Or, more likely, did something about defeating the Shadow King lead David to realize his full power and actually become a more formidable threat than the Shadow King himself? Is that why Syd must remain silent? Just some initial thoughts that are probably wrong but can’t wait to see where this season leads.

The show is beautiful, freaky and there is nothing else like it on television. The production value is off the charts. It beats any of the Netflix Marvel shows in my opinion.

I just don't like shows that are purposely ambiguous. Legion and WestWorld drive me crazy.

Legion is much more like Mr. Robot in that the viewer is confused because we see things from the perspective of the main character who is crazy. What you see as a conspiracy to hide information from you I see as viewing the world from the perspective of a crazy person which is trippy and delightful. It should be driving you crazy in a good way.

As for season 2, I'm impressed that the LSD still seems to be flowing freely. Are the source comics this trippy? I mean WTF came up with these guys?

Watching that was like hearing Dr. Evil describe a collaboration between his father and David Lynch.

This show confuses the hell out of me, but I love it.

For a while I thought that Syd was the same person as Ronnie from LA to Vegas, but now I am reminded they are in fact different.

I like the pacing this show offers. The confusion early on is a natural response, and almost seems like a bad thing, but this just makes the ending of the season that much more cathartic. When I rewatched season 1 recently, I understood all of it compared to being lost until episode 7 the first time, which was even better. It felt like a completely new viewing because of the such different perspectives.

I would say the only other show that had this level of greatness from first viewing experience to repeat viewing experience, for me, was True Detective season 1. Just amazing writing.
