The balance of power in the Senate is razor thin. How do you account for the glaring disparity (35/15) at the Gubernatorial level? What's the message here? What is our governmental system trying to say?? Inquiring minds...

More difficult to cheat on a state level?

Which is why a constitutional convention to abolish the electoral college would fail at this point.

Harder to get the den base fired up for state races. Not kidding.
Mississippi Democrats ran a truck driver that did not even vote for himself for governor.

Republican governors are consistently effective.
Democrat governors are consistently horrible.
Just look at he economies and crime rates of various states and see for yourself.

Look at when the last Republican was mayor in Milwaukee.

In fact, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que," which is Algonquin for, "the good land."
I think one of the most interesting aspects of Milwaukee is the fact that it's the only major American city to have ever elected three socialist mayors.

A company I deal with regularly is in Menomonee Falls, just outside Milwaukee. Almost everyone there pronounce it "mwoky."

Bobby Jindal of Louisiana had a 25% approval when he left.
Never to be heard from again.

The 17th Amendment was the biggest mistake ever.

Yeah.... the state economies of Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia, South Carolina, Iowa, Kansas, Alabama are booming.
It’s amazing how people refuse to take of their political glasses and look at something objectively. It shows a lack of intelligence. It just further proves that this country is too divided. This country was built on working together as to find common ground but neither side wants to do this anymore.

I was baffled how NC could vote for Trump and Cooper in the same election, but it happened.
