Philly? That's be a good choice but I haven't heard any buzz about that.

He needs to go somewhere where he'll submit to coaching. SA's the only place that makes sense in that regard, as I think Pop's the only coach that he'll listen to.

I do agree that he needs to go somewhere in which he will submit to coaching. But we all know, LeBron is going to go where LeBron gets to do what LeBron wants. Even at the cost of the team. Pop is the only current coach that LeBron would listen to. Nobody else has his reputation. He doesn't put up with BS. It's either about the team or you can pack your bags.

But I see Philly as a very potential destination because it.
1. keeps him in the East, away from the West (even though the hegemony has shrunk somewhat)
2. Has young players with skills that can translate to beating GSW, especially Embiid
3. Salary Cap: The only ones on the books after this season are Covington (3 & D) and Ben Simmons (potential running mate for LBJ), and Fultz (remains to be seen if he is any good), and Bayless. Embiid will need a new contract but everyone else over $5 million is off the books (Reddick, Booker, Amir Johnson). With the bird rights of Simmons and Covington, they could sign LeBron and pay Embiid and then fill out the roster

There's no way in hell he goes to Philly. They're too young. They're not good enough yet. He's going to want to go to a team that is ready-made to win and is already close.

To me, he only has a few real options. Stay in Cleveland and stay in the East for an easier path to the Finals, or go to a much better team in the West like the Spurs or Rockets. Those are much better teams but the path to the Finals is harder having to go through Golden State.

Can those two giant douches coexist? Pop today is not the Pop of 5 years ago. Pop has also never proven any ability to deal with an ego like bron bron for long. He usually ships those guys out.

I just don't see those two fitting together well at all. Way too similar games and weaknesses.

To say there is no way in hell he goes to Philly is a little premature. They are young but they see the game well, just need more time together and if they brought in another veteran player to play alongside Simmons/Embiid/Lebron/Covington I have no problem believing they would be in the finals within 2 years. Sidenote: Didn't realize Embiid had already signed his extension for $148/5 years

I do think LeBron would prefer playing with CP3 in Houston and have Harden and an interior defender like Clint Cappella but he does have options open to him...LeBron's game is going to continue to evolve as he ages (barring injury or body breaking down) and Houston would be the best place for him to do that as a PF.

I mean people were saying the same about Harden and CP3...I would see Simmons and LeBron running something similar to Magic and James Worthy with the fast break..Brotherly Love Showtime

The way they are playing, there is a strong chance they could get bounced out the first round when the playoffs begin (should have been more clear on that). Sorry that I am not an expert on the NBA like yourself. Now, go take your expertise and FO.

As a person who follows LeBron on instagram, I’d have to honestly say that it’s amazing that some people around here are losing the ability to recognize when you shouldn’t take certain posts seriously.

He’s such a passive-aggressive pussy. Pretty impressive for someone his size and his self made money.
