for whatever reason, i thought buying 2k the other day was a good idea. it wasnt. its garbage. i was wrong. So, im going to return it today and pick up something else. Was thinking about the new need for speed, as i like those kinds of games. anyone have this and can recommend or ideas for something else?

Could hop on the BF2 train. I heard they were bringing back micro transactions soon. It should make the game so much more popular and fun.

You can return games just because you don't like them/aren't any good at them? Or you're just selling it back?
Gamestop would probably give you like $10.

Dice actually has tried making amends for this. The microtransactions have been gone since almost launch. The price of unlocks have gone down. Tons of free content handed out to regular players. And they are going to implement a completely new progression system. The only valid complaint since the loot box scandal could be the little amount of content in the form of challenges and seasons.

And they all but told everyone that microtransactions were going to be gone temporarily.

we'll see.
they very may will re-implement them. But they are building some momentum lately in the community by implementing changes the community has asked for. Would be a shame to see them ruin that in a greedy money grab. It's still a really really fun game. I wish they would've never had the micro-transaction loot-box system so the community would be larger.
and honestly for cosmetics or small xp boosts, i'm fine with them throwing that into loot-boxes if it pays for DLC and new content. Make the game profitable, fine. Just don't make it so I have to pay anything past the initial $60 to compete fairly.

1. frick steph curry.
2. i just didnt like the game. i havent had an NBA game in like a decade because i always hated the mechanics, but i wanted to give it another shot and see what the GM mode was about. not for me.
If you return a game within a week of buying it, you get a full refund. makes me just want to continuously buy and return games every week

NHL 18 is a lot of fun. I’m not really into hockey, but the gameplay is awesome, theres a pretty extensive franchise mode that lets you play as your NHL team as well as your minor league farm team (if you want to have a hand in developing your young draft picks) and theyve introduced a new 3v3 game mode that is really fast paced.
