Funny he likes to mention they were "Accused" and not the part where both were never actually charged.

He actually does mention that neither were charged and gives dates to when charges were dropped.

The whole point of his article can be summed up in a few sentences.

quote:

And it’s why I believe that Wade and his coaching staff should be fired if either Williams or Bigby-Williams has anything even close to an accusation of violence against women or sexual assault while on the LSU campus. If there are no serious repercussions for taking a risk that the kid you are bringing onto a college campus, where sexual violence is an epidemic, might actually be a serial sexual predator, then nothing is ever going to change.

I can get behind this. Bring them here. But it's on the coaches that recruited them, knowing their history, if the frick up.

Yeh this article seems like fair game to me. He mentions they were accused and not charged

If Saban signed these kids (I know they are basketball player and not football), the rant would love to talk about how he only cares about winning yadda yadda yadda

Great, so the tweet is just shock journalism for the tens of thousands who see that and the 1% who actually click on the article and read it

You can get behind Wade and staff being fired if a player with no criminal history other than a accusation is again merely accused with no charges even brought?

That’s absurd. Michigan State and Baylor covered up multiple complaints and allegations against players after they were already on campus. And the Athletic programs were responsible for dismisses/underhanded complaints.

Wade giving scholarships to players who had their cases handled out in public by the justice system with no charges brought is nowhere near equivalent. If either player is accused of a sexual violation at LSU and Wade suspends the player pending an investigation by authorities unconnected to the athletics program that’s exactly what he should do. And he should be lauded. frick this guy. An accusation is just that. An accusation. Counting an accusation as strike one is to completely ignore the point innocent until proven guilty

So this guy is just writing this article just to ride on the Michigan State news wave. What a cünt.

I'd suggest that coaches take a back seat to those that actually work in law enforcement and the judicial branch of government.

It's crazy that anyone should think someone should be punished for "taking a chance" on someone who was not convicted of something.
