Dr Sleep is the book, pretty good. Danny is now grown, but he has to use his gift to help a girl against a tribe of physios.

a faithful adaptation of terrible stephen king ideas or a sequel to Stanley kubrik's film

This. Mike Flanagan has made some very good horror films recently. He directed Gerald's Game, Oculus, Ouija: Orgin of Evil, Hush and Before I Wake.
He should do a great job with Dr Sleep
