James Williams Senior Season Highlights

Kid is only 5'9, if he was over 6'0 would have offers from every Power 5 in the country. The tape doesn't lie, kid is a 4 year starter in Texas 5A football playing In over 60 high school games in his career.
2 time all state selection
2 time state champion

Like I said probably not LSU talent but some impressive film.

Looks like he's headed to Montana State. Figured he would at least be FCS level, very impressive highlights, 2x all-state

Would love as a walk-on. Always need depth on the lines.

Good player @dustoff. He can play college ball with the right attitude for sure. Hope he finds a spot with a good school.

Looks like one of those Arkansas unersized defenders who have given LSU fits over the years.

He looks terrific, and as for his lack of height. he seems tall enough to see the QBs

Is there any way we could get this guy? You guys who follow recruiting closely, what are the chances & how?

After watching the highlights, he was not pushed at all. Would be awesome in middle if performs like that in college.

I remember Sam Miles of the Saints being super & short!

5'9 303 is what he's listed as, I'm not a coach, friend of the family, or any of that jazz.

I've just watched this kid play every Friday night for the last few years and figured I'd share his film.

Wow!! Dude is a stud. Fast quick and powerful. He is talented enough to play at any SEC School. I don’t care about his height. I would love for coach to give him a shot

Cannot always tell the level of competition but he is absolutely relentless and lives in the opposing backfield. He just flat makes plays and is disruptive the way premier edge rushers can be, but does it from the inside.

Be great if he could be convinced to take a preferred walk on spot for a year with an opportunity to earn a scholarship with his development.

Yep and was the Defensive MVP of last years State Championship game. Kid plays against legit 5A Texas programs. Aledo is a powerhouse.

In the trenches it's all about pad level and leverage...at 5'9" he is actually at an advantage.
