I was coming to post this. I’m just messing with the OP.

You think most of these posters on here are grown arse men? The average age is probably 12.

I have the self defense dream, but it's part of the broader "architectural" dreams as I call them. My weapon is either not where I think it is or the bad guy is somehow between me and the weapon - sometimes there is shooting, but usually it's just the mental problem solving of me getting to the gun, or calling the cops or getting the family out or whatever - it isn't very common.
The broader "architectural" dreams can be military, educational or both - occasionally it's commercial hotel/mall or combo - it's either a single large building or a large campus - the problem is - the thing changes and it usually becomes like a pathfinding problem - I keep having to stop and get my bearings and figure out how to get where I'm going from where I'm at. I usually figure out it's a dream because the dimensions and layout of the place change and become increasingly complex. Sometimes, its a military barracks or training school and we're trying to get the mission or training event going, but there is a lot of time lost going from place to place under these conditions.
The educational version, I know I haven't been to class in weeks and I'm not sure where the room is, what the assignments are or if I even have the books. I generally figure that one out when I say to myself, "Dude. You haven't been in school in 15 or 20 years."

Been a while since I had that one.

That sounds very stressful. My mind couldn't even come up with scenarios like that.

This is mine exactly. And it’s always some bull shite class that I try to make excuses for missing due to all the hard shite I was taking.
Just curious, did you have a tough major and/or higher education?

Mine is the same . I'm punching someone but it doesn't hurt them . And the other dream is I can't remember the combination to my locker or can't remember where my classes are. And I've been out of school for 20 years.

My two recurring dreams are, it's finals week and I can't remember if I dropped a class I haven't been to since week one, and the inappropriately dressed for the situation one.
I still have the first one. I used to have the second one, but don’t anymore. Those are the only two recurring dreams I really ever recall having. Weird.

quote:The specific classes that come up in those dreams are often from when I was in Chem. E. I wasn't doing well, and my heart wasn't in it. fricking 4 hour physics for physics majors plus the calculus I needed for that class. They should never have let me take those at the same time. Law school is never a part of these.

Never once have I had a dream about taking a test, but then again I didn't attend real college either. Other than this fighting dream where my punches are terribly weak, I also have naked in a public place dream. I'm naked and no one else seems to notice or care, but I'm freaking out.

I have the “can’t find the classroom for the final” dream also. Terrifying.
I also have one where the car that I am “driving” is traveling very fast or erratically and I realize that I am in the back seat and there is no one at the steering wheel.
Generally have these when I am stressed out and life seems OOC.

I just have the dirty dreams, and dreams where I feel like I'm in the Truman show. Stupid shite everywhere, and its like I'm the only one that sees it.

That's not a dream, that's just the world we live in now.

That's what makes it so frustrating, I deal with that enough when I'm awake ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
