Knights of the Old Republic - GOAT SW Game?

Who am I quoting?
The movies do no justice on how great a universe which is Star Wars. The old canon (Legends) might have got a little wild but it was fun. The new books make the new movies seem like a children's cartoons. If you haven't read Thrawn; buy the audio book at less and listen.
One thing we had to look forward to during the prequel era was Galaxies, Jedi Academy and KotOR. Sadly it seems good Star Wars story telling with video games is not the direction Disney wants to go as of now.
Let us hope they change their minds.

GOAT SW RPG, definitely.

I enjoyed this and Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast.

What do you put above it? Is it just a genre preference. We used to have so many great Star Wars games.
Galaxies was fun just because it was my first MMO but it didn't stay with me like KotOR.

Totally forgot about this game.
I'm thinking about the Episode III game on PS3 and even Force Unleashed (first one only).
Those two are much better than what we get now. Crazy to think the time since a decent Star Wars game.

The X-Wing and Tie Fighter series games say Hi!

I remember playing this way back in the day on my PC. I was using a God cheat code and got to this boss that I couldn't beat for the life of me despite obviously being unkillable. I wasted probably a couple hours before I finally said screw it and took off God mode because that was the only difference I could tell. You were supposed to "die" at that point or the story couldn't move forward

The Revan reveal in the first KOTOR is one of my most memorable gaming twists ever. Nowadays it seems like every twist either gets spoiled or just falls flat.

Galaxies will always be my #1, but KOTOR is a close second.

KOTOR has probably aged the best out of all the classic Star Wars games.
It can be a challenge to run the old X-wing and Tie Fighter games on modern hardware. The same can be said for Jedi Knight.
Jedi Knight 2 and 3 are games I have a tremendous amount of memories with, but I've come to the realization that both games are pretty flawed yet the modding scene added endless amounts of replay-ability to the multiplayer. The games also have the best lightsaber mechanics of any Star Wars title.

Surprised no one remembers the quote.
She was my favorite character outside of Reven. But everyone loves Reven.

I mean I'm pretty sure that's Kriea. I thought BioWare at the time just simply "got" Star Wars. The Dialogue in KOTOR II is way too heavy and quasi-philosophical.

JKA with movie battles mod is the absolute GOAT competitive online star wars game.
Hard as frick and you actually have to be good at Jedi/sith for it to be strong. You could either be a god or worthless to your team. Very detailed saber dueling system too.

Those old school fps SW games were bossy. Jedi Outcast was the first game I can remember doing mods for. Getting Darth Maul, and Vader in the game were fun as shite.

KOTOR 1 is in my top 5 games of all time

Jolee bindo was the shite. I loved the concept of the "grey Jedi". If I could go back in tom I would to back to the first time I played that game. awe-inspiring.
