I've never read the books. I did play the games though. How true was the game series to the books? There were parts of the game that were creepy as hell...like the 3 demon sisters. Still creeps me out lol. Great game

The game did a pretty great job of nailing the world and characters of the books both in terms of feel and personality. Geralt is way more powerful and badass in the games of course, though he's still a really strong character in the books as well. The hit Geralt's personality pretty well though.
Yen is much less likeable and more of a bitch to Geralt in the books though, with Triss being more of a side character as well, though they transferred her characters personality well.

I’ve read most of the first book. Don’t remember much but I think Geralt is a better character in the games. The deadpan voice and delivery does so much. I feel like the first book doesn’t have quite the world building there yet.
