He's likable because he seems to be a generally good guy, all things considered. He's never been involved in any sort of off the court scandal. He married his high school sweetheart and has stayed married. Seems like a good father. He does a lot of charity work as well. I can certainly understand some of the things he says or does coming across as arrogant. I also agree that he says things as if he is smarter than others. But, when it comes to judging him comparative to other superstar athletes, I think he's more likable than a lot are.

I'm pretty apathetic towards Lebron fwiw. I have rooted for the Cavs the past few finals but that's due to my dislike for the Warriors more than my liking of the Lebron/Cavs.

I agree stuff like this makes ya cringe, and his PR rep needs to have a word with him. but come on. He's not a bad human being.
