Yeah I watched a lot of his games and he had a good rookie year, but a modest rookie year. He didn't have an AP or Zeke Elliott rookie year which the OP makes it sound like with his bashing of LF's usage at LSU. From what I saw and said was his rookie year looked a lot like the tough games LSU had. Bad QB play and LF running into a crowd of defenders.

He averaged 3.2 yards percarry...I'd take Kamara over him

To be honest he isn't as good as Yeldon in my opinion...Just a poor man's Jim Brown

quote:Good lord yall. LF7 would have been a historic back in college had he gone to Bama. And if he was on a team where he wasn't the first thing defenses scheme against, he'd be even better than he is currently in the NFL.

Your opinion is just wrong then.

I think the Jags coaches agree. That is why Fournette gets 20-25 touches a game and Yeldon gets 5-6. Jags must be so high on Yeldon that they didn't mind using a top 5 pick on a lesser running back.

Busted ankle in preseason hurt LSU against WI and AU - could not cut. If LF was healthy, Miles is probably still coaching LSU

In all honesty wasn't the Jags game almost identical to LSU's offense? The D key'd on stopping LF and held him to 3.2 ypc because they didn't respect the Jags passing game.
I feel bad for Fournette. He has to feel like he's starring in Groundhog Day.

Which Jag?

Not really. Jacksonville ran Fournette up the middle EVERY single time except once. He was effective (early) out of the backfield. Coaches are dumbasses (IMHO) overall. They are smart enough to make $$$$ so I can't bitch at them too much. Ensminger is getting his pay day and then he can ride off into the sunset and enjoy "family" time. It's AWESOME! Been doing it for years w my 4 kids. Folks like Saban and the New England coach (Bilichick?) come along every decade or so. Our coaches are just as good as most. You still have to have the BEST players to win regardless.

Where does Orgeron play into your pissy little rant? Fournette was hurt the whole season and Guice had a phenomenal season behind that line

It’s the 17th year in a row that a former Tiger will play in the Super Bowl. That streak is the longest in the Southeastern Conference and dates back to Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002 when Kevin Faulk made his first Super Bowl appearance with the New England Patriots.

Here again, SE took over and tweaked Cameron's offense, he couldn't do a total overhaul midseason, so don't try to blame him. Many factors why Elliot ran on Bama, 1) better o-line 2) blocking schemes and this is where I'll agree with you, urban Meyer runs alot more trap blocking and that works against an aggressive d-line. You have to compare apples to apples and I will tell you the d-line and lb's were better in 2016 than in 2017 because that's a fact, just look at the draft. I'll also agree with you scheme-wise we could have been better, have to look at all factors from both years. You can down vote me now for disagreeing with you.

disagree. To me it tells an old story. Have a stout front seven and good defensive backs. To beat a defense like that, you have to have a mobile qb that can also throw well.

thanks for posting this. it lets me know i can just ignore any of your future opinions on football
LF rookie year= 1090 yards and 10tds
Yeldon's 3 years NFL career= 1458 yards and 7 the.
you do realize that you can look this shite up right?

So in Nutville LF is not even a good RB?
Posted on 1/23/18 at 11:13 am to apfour21
you mean running fournette out the I for tds? Because that's exactly what the jags did.

Sorry but Yeldon is bettet ...look at his feet. much quicker. can make people miss...LF7 with his running style will nevet make it past 3 years...Coaches aren't innfallanle
