Homeowners but you would be on the hook for the actual repairs to the pipes. Homeowners would cover any subsequent water damage to the house.

This. Homeowners will cover water damage, but not from flood waters. Ask me how I know this.......

I think this is right. When the pipe breaks under a slab, it gets pretty pricy.

100% accurate.

Flood insurance covers RISING water, that does at least one of the following:

1. floods two or more acres
2. floods your house and one other property
