UK should not be considered a democracy if Brexit does not go through.

Nigel Farage has admitted the Brexit vote could be overturned as Remainers have seized control of the debate over the UK’s future relationship with the European Union.

The people voted to leave -- LEAVE.

The UK is practically a Bolshevist country, fulfilling predictions made by some famous bad-guys about 80 years ago. They have a totalitarian surveillance state and speech controls that would make Stalin proud.

It really isn't a free country anymore. The powers that be have the police out looking for people who were critical of Muslim rape gangs on Fakebook because hate speech.

Not sure that there is much hope left for Western Europe. They have a large breeding population of the world's worst invasive species already in place.

Eastern Europe still stands strong.

Between CCTV on every corner, the criminalization of anything perceived to be offensive speech and white British no longer constituting a majority of the population in Greater London, Leicester, Luton and Slough, there isn't much great about Great Britain anymore. Even those opposed to massive Muslim immigration are largely Labour voters who think the government owes them a job, a certain wage and massive benefits.

Because the vote to leave the EU is not legally binding, the UK could remain in the EU. It's up to Parliament to decide whether to make the vote law or not.

quote:

Could MPs block an EU exit?

Could the necessary legislation pass the Commons, given that a lot of MPs in the current Parliament - all SNP and Lib Dems, nearly all Labour and many Conservatives - were in favour of staying? The referendum result is not legally binding - Parliament still has to pass the laws that will get Britain out of the 28 nation bloc, starting with the repeal of the 1972 European Communities Act. The withdrawal agreement also has to be ratified by Parliament - the House of Lords and/or the Commons could vote against ratification, according to a House of Commons library report.

So in theory they could block the UK's EU exit. But in practice that is seen as very unlikely given that a majority of people voted for Brexit in the referendum.

Farage said if it was 52% there might need to be a second referendum.

Personally I'm against a second vote because I want £350m a week for the NHS.

Do you have a link for that claim? I can't find anything near what you're saying. Thanks.

The election was hacked by disinformation campaigns right up to Election Day (sound familiar?)

The only people who voted to leave are senior citizens who will never be around to reap the damage they have sewn on the country.

At least a revote is needed to ensure people vote on the actual merits and facts of a potential BREXIT, or an overturn through the House.

As far as it even concerns us in the US, BREXIT will be bad for trade, trust me.

In time the people of the USA will admit to themselves that the destiny of the USA is also no longer in the hands of the US electorate.

Brexit will be reversed, if not tomorrow, then next year, if not next year, then in 10 years.

No nation on Earth will withstand the power of the evolution of World History, which will culminate in a Global Government that is ruthlessly secular, totally socialist and definitely totalitarian.
