If you think the BBC supported leave you don't know how anal the BBC is about being balanced. It's like nothing in the US, they will always have opposing views, it's part of their charter. This means that when there's an argument about reality if they want to have someone sane on they have to have an Alex Jones type on too. In effect, in terms of economics and even basic legal processes they can't have someone who understands what's happening without having someone who doesn't.

And yes the banks supported remain because it's cheaper than leaving, what did you expect?
