They are saying the flu shot isn't very effective this year. And I had it around new year's. It sucked.

Haven't been sick yet this season. Hoping to keep it that way. Lots of people in my office have been sick and still coming to work spreading their germs around.

Have two people in my office out with it now. I didn't get the flu shot and am freaking out cause I got a baby at home and don't want to get her sick.

Yep...lucky enough to get Tamiflu early enough to shorten the cycle...it was a pretty brutal combination of fever, pain and mucus.

On the tail end of it, hit me hard Friday evening. Got a script of Tamiflu Saturday and feeling mostly better.

Mine started with really sore throat...almost felt like strep. Tons of drainage and then the fever comes and knocks you out.
