Mitzi is a good option. There is also a good amount that pop up used as well.

This might be tough. Probably doable depending on if fishing partners regularly bring their own tackle boxes and several rods a piece. Mitzi isn't known for storage.

The new Cayo 180MV. I need to get my hands on one first but I'm thinking that will be the one.
Go ahead and put your deposit down now if you plan on fishing the 2019 season.
I'm pretty familiar with the bossman. If anyone is interested It's right down the street from me, I can go look at it.

JB has one of those good problems on his hands. That wait list is long. Im hoping that those looking to size up will put their 17s on the market for a decent prize. All the used 17s I've seen have been priced very high.

Does it fill up full of water? The only one I have been on had water on the deck all day. It also rattled like crazy.

I just sold my Xpress 18’ CC that I had setup similar to a flats boat. Miss that thing already.

Didn’t fill up with water because he rebolted the 2 pieces of the boat back together. The whole deck rattles pretty bad. I’d stay away from Tracker marine IMHO.

Of course I started looking at the Cayos and feel in love with a boat that I can’t get for another year. Thanks OB, lots of good info to get me going.

I will own one in the next 2 years.

Those are nice. I really like the Beavertail Mosquito but they’re not cheap, and is have a very hard time justifying spending 35-40k on an 18’ skiff. The Cayo is a nice boat but I just can’t get over the look of those huge spray rails. I’ve been emailing Mel about the new Salt Marsh 18 and that’s much more in my budget and a very nice rig from the early production pics I’ve seen.
ETA: if money wasn’t an option I’d buy a Hells Bay. Either a Professional or a Marquesa

Those are new to me, but after looking them up, i like what i see. IPB skiffs has something similiar as well.

The new Heron is gonna be a really nice boat with a new cap and liner and redesigned console from the Heron 16.

Not a single hatch is dry, the hull came apart in two pieces and he had to bolt it back together, etc..

This is why you shouldn't buy a boat made by BassPro people! Its a crime what they've done to the Mako brand.
