would it be a good idea to trade Demarcus Cousins for imam Shumpert, Kevin love and a first round pick to the Cavs?

I would do it if AD was willing to play the 5 and it was the Brooklyn pick

What are the odds that someone averaging less than 2 posts a month would choose this thread to post in? I guess this is better than trolling us with trades about Hassan Whiteside, but it still seems like a lose lose proposition for all involved. You really had nothing better to do?

There are absolutely no circumstances where I would allow a premier player to reach unrestricted free agency. I know we had nonother choice with Cousins, but if I couldn't extend him I'd trade him. There is just too much to risk. That being said, as much as I worship Love, I don't want him right now. With Holiday and Davis, I wouldn't want any other max level players. I'd rather a package of lesser players or picks. But beggers can't be choosers..

arse is a weird word to censor, it's not like your calling him a cocksucker. If you feel the need to censor yourself just use another word.

If that pick is the Brooklyn pick, heck yes.

Its no better than 50/50 boogie is here for long, so sure.

Do it now.

I wish we were able to keep buddy in that trade. Crawford also provided offensive presence. We are bad on both ends and AD does not seem to be himself with Cousins.

I understand the sentiment, but Love is actually under a relatively reasonable contract (if there is such a thing) and not a max deal.

I got it, but its still 3 contracts over 25M a year. You would have to have a genius GM, or very lucky one, to make that work. Plus we would still have a massive hole on the wing. Whenever I think about big 3s, they usually consist of a premier guard, premier wing and a premier big, all high IQ players. Its the easiest formula to follow. We have a great big, Davis. Holiday is a borderline great guard. We need a wing. Doubling down on more bigs just doesn't seem to work..

I think the Cavs would probably try and trade Thompson + Pick rather than Love + pick. I don't think you could get AD on board with a Cousins trade without bringing back real talent. Would Charlotte be ready to trade Kemba if you could give them the Brooklyn pick?

Keep Tristan Thompson so AD doesn't bitch about having to play center full time, then trade the Brooklyn pick plus your pick and Diallo with Asik/Ajinca for Kemba. Charlotte gets enough youth and potential with Diallo, 2 top 10 picks(one is their own) and a pick in the teens to 20s to hit the reset button and let Kemba go.
