I've actually got a few really nice leather bound journals that I'm writing old stories in. Mostly just stuff from my life, but other family stories that I heard growing up. As nearly all of my side of the family has died, I'm the last respite for those things. I wish my dad had done that for me, because he had TONS of stories and while I remember many of them I don't in the detail he had told them to me, and I'm sure I've simple forgotten plenty of others.
We're also putting together 2 separate cookbooks with recipes for all the things we've cooked while our boys were growing up.

I'll leave behind a good watch and a whole bunch of shite they are going to have to clean out the house.

My Dad gave me his 12 gauge shotgun and a .410 that he used as a kid. He also gave me my Grandfathers 10 gauge shotgun and 38 revolver. I am not much of a hunter but my oldest son is so I gave him the 12 gauge, 10 gauge, and 410 shotguns. My youngest son will get my Grandpa's 38 revolver and my Watch (Omega Seamaster)
