Because they have a system that has proven to be a winner! They kno the system inside and out, Coach players and position coaches up in said system, haw players execute it inside and out, and hold players and position coaches accountable for deviation from it.
Ensminger runs a spread one game and a Power from the I formation the next game and doesn’t do either worth a shite! Orgeron said he wanted 3 different types of offenses and 2 different types of QB all pretty definitively in a 5 week window!
These guys have also proven that their system works with different personnel and have coached and beaten high profile teams with said system.

Well don’t think Lane kiffin is coming. So give me a guy that worked with him and had success everywhere he’s been. Heck when he has any questions he can call his dad which is also a genius.

Because they see the last name and instantly think they will get the exact same offense Baylor had under Art. I'm a little skeptical though of how much Kendal was involved in play calling both at Baylor and FAU. Does anyone actually recall who called in plays on game day at Baylor? At FAU I've only ever seen Kiffin holding the play sheet. Just wonder how much of his success is riding the coat tales of others. I except all the Briles groupies to downvote this but don't care.

I would take Mawae over the NCAA sanctions waiting to happen of either Freeze or Briles....although Briles can get the white women and Freeze has all of the phone numbers
