Read this thread. This guy posted Aranda was staying before ESPN started scrolling that he was leaving. Before any of the pay-sites had any information.

BREAKING news thread about Aranda on the Rant !!!

Can you imagine this issue existing for even a nanosecond in an organization where Nick Saban or Urban Meyer is the Head Coach?

all of this may be true, but no coach goes from school to school one year or so at the time unless they have issues at each school...

maybe, just maybe, it is not O as much as Canada ???

Some one put up the thread about the culture here at LSU. The fan base is part of that culture. The culture that half this board, which is a small part of the fan base, is to berate, belittle and chastise and all given opportunities teams, coaches, and other fans.

this. it really gets old and i'll bet that this board will start losing advertisers over it some day. I get sick of these guys that drag my alma matar through the mud every fricking day for perceived slights.

ND took the Jet Sweep away. It wasn't O interfering. It was ND's defensive alignment. Even the guys announcing the game mentioned this. You are seeing shadows that aren't there, bud.

Thats right. Thats how it works. The jet sweep HAS to be ran all game to work. It keeps the edge defenders at home to open up the middle for the run game and it also keeps them from crashing our vulnerable OTs with edge blitzes and hard rushes from the DEs so that Danny can have a clean pocket to pass from.

The fact that it wasnt ran all game tells me that Ens or O were meddling again.

Its not fricking rocket science. Unless youre Ensminger and Ogre-ron.

How many did he run vs Tenn? When you find the answer, come back and we'll talk.

You only NEED to run it when the plays its supposed to setup arent working. Tenn is poo so LSU didnt need to keep running it. Also, there are other plays that accomplish the same thing to varying degrees.

They were ridiculed for losing the CWS, the coach, the players, the administration

People were just bitching in the heat of the moment after a tough loss. It's nothing personal and I don't think the players, coaches and administration have any problem with it. It's funny that you do.

He does cover your concerns about Canada in the OP. I'm not endorsing the guy but he was steadfast in his statement and it was over an hour and 20 minutes before the Aranda news broke.

Canada himself stated he will adjust to his team strengths and the other's weaknesses. ND took the jet sweep away. I take Canada at his word.

The jet sweep creates similar problems for the defense as the RPO and Double/Triple Option offense but it can be ran with a non or less-than mobile QB. Thats why he ran it with Peterman and Etling.

By 'we', you mean the fan base. They are the ones driving all these deluded made up naratives. Like this whole thread based on completely false naratives. It just gets tiresome

Wrong, sometimes when things go to the brink, both parties wake up and be Adult and support the common causes in very civil manners. Happens all the time in everyday life, it's called being a work. You think the rest of us liked all our bosses

yeah, I have to agree with that also. I'm not one of those that says you must blame somebody, and it must be all on one person. If one assumes things went sideways relationship wise there's probably plenty blame to go around. In fact it's rarely one sided, if ever.

I was just making the point that we should, and do, expect them to push all that aside and get on with it. I wish they would. I've never seen that work though. Especially with egos involved.

In a post long before the TAMU presser in a 'will Canada stay' type thread I commented that you would think it's in Canada's best interest to make sure he stays past this year just because of that history you mentioned. That is still true. However, all the media/PR crap has made that harder for him to do just that. Not saying he can't, or won't... but before that was required was he suck it up. Now we just have more egos involved or more people to worry about egg on face, which complicates it.

I see it as 'don't air your dirty laundry'. And it's first and foremost Alleva's job to keep a check on it. Orgeron speaks for the team; both Alleva and Orgeron speak for the program with Alleva having the 'supervisory' position.
