To be honest, I don't think about it. How this Universe was created has no bearing on my life. I exist. That's all that matters.

One day I won't.

That's okay too.

Age of the Universe: 13.2 billion years

Amount of time observing distant background radiation: 30 years.

So...we've studied 0.0000000002273 of the life of the Universe and think we've got it all figured out, right?

No. It's bullshite. No one really knows who or started the universe. I believe G-d created it but that's my faith

I accept that the dense singularity, and everything we see before us came from something and somebody, the likes of which the tiny little creatures on this little blue marble in the middle of absolutely nowhere in a vast universe simply cannot comprehend.

These threads must always turn into a pissing match between theists and atheists. That is one of the fundamental laws of the universe.

It’s a pretty good theory, but we can’t be sure of it until we are actually capable of traveling in space (more than to the moon and sending out unmanned flights)

No. Because we have no idea.

As far as I’m concerned Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe.

I've watched every conceivable explanation and none of it makes sense. You can add all the heat, particle matter, hocus pocus you want. None of it creates a universe, earth, etc.

Look, if you don't want to acknowledge the presence of a Creator, fine. Just don't tell me shaking a sno globe 3xs the speed of light creates a mountain.

In that picture, it's not the bell shaped object with pretty dots of blue, purple, green, red, white, and yellow scattered amongst it that gets me. It's the black region around it that mind fricks me more than anything.

I just cannot wrap my mind around the concept of nothing. Especially an infinite amount of it.
