I heard from a friend this evening that lsu won. Aranda is staying. He's credible, but sometimes jumps the gun with info. You hearing this as well?

Yes. LSU won(for now) LSU was not going to be out bid for an assistant. This was a statement move more than a keeping DA although they did not want to lose him. Also Dave is very loyal to O.. And for those who do not know, i grew up around the program and have some very close contacts high up in the program. I only come here when i have info other than that i just enjoy the conversations here on this board. Lately i am moving further and further away from it.

nolatrain, will there be any kind of official statement by LSU or will the administration just let the fact speak for themselves, i.e. no announcement from the aggies?

Thanks nola. If we keep aranda, I expect a good season next year. I was actually pleased with the on the field coaching this season and the team got better as the season progressed.
