The sky will fall if you disagree with our globalist agenda.
The article is from Newsweek. No graphs...but it does feature a photo of Trump.

EARTH WILL START BECOMING A DESERT BY 2050 IF GLOBAL WARMING ISN'T STOPPED, STUDY SAYS

More than 25 percent of Earth will experience serious drought and desertification by the year 2050 if the attempts made by the Paris climate agreement to curb global warming are not met

Over a 30 year period, I feel like this probably is true with or without global warming. This sounds like one of Obamas “jobs created or saved”. It’s hard to disprove what they are saying

We cannot control the fricking weather.

On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
And the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot and the ground was dry
But the air was full of sound
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la
After two days in the desert sun
My skin began to turn red
After three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead
You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt…

We just need to increase CO2 levels. It's been proven that higher CO2 levels lead to greater plant growth. How do people not understand that plants feed off of CO2?
The same people that are pushing the "CO2 is dangerous and must be severely limited" narrative are the same ones that have stated a desire to see a massive die-off of the population. Surely it's just coincidence, though.

In the late 70s and early 80s, all I heard was a hat acid rain was going to kill everything within a decade. Still waiting...Cannot even remember the last time I heard the term. I guess that just gets lumped into “climate change” as well now.

That prediction is so far-fetched it isn't even worth discussing.
May as well predict that a meteor the size of Venus will crash into Earth next week.

Oh god no!!!! I better write a check to some globalists somewhere. Surely that will save us.

Also.. what % of the earth do the deserts make that already exist? Including Antarctica.

It's all global warming's fault.
If we just spent more tax dollars......

So we reduce our CO2 emissions to zero tomorrow.
You know how long it will take to notice a change or sign of reversal?
500 years, minimum.

That’s just as ridiculous as pretending it doesn’t exist

But what percentage of the Earth’s land surface is desert? Deserts actually make up 33%, or 1/3rd of the land’s surface area.

Earth have LESS desert area in 2050!!!

I remember very well Al Gore, Pelosi, the MSM, and Prog idiots parroting in the 2003 time frame that by 2012 or so, there would be no slopes to ski on due to all the snow melting.
None of this came true.
None of this came true.

the points being that:
1. you ain't going to get 8 billion on the same page acting in concert to reduce emissions
2. even if you could, they won't go to zero emissions
3. no way it happens tomorrow
Conclusion: forget about it, nothing is going to get done about it
don't worry, be happy

“The North Polar ice cap is ‘falling off a cliff.’ One study estimated that it could be completely gone during summer in [by 2026]. Another new study, to be presented by U.S. Navy researchers later this week, warns it could happen [by 2014].”
