Why Aranda isn’t leaving any time soon

As usual, catastrophe syndrome is in full effect anytime interest in our coaches is made. With Aranda, i have already seen that he was leaving for A&M just days ago for 17 different reasons that were all ridiculous to say the least. Now here come the Green Bay rumors... Step back for a second and think about this. Green Bay paid Capers one of the highest salaries for a DC in the NFL (around 2mil a year). Aranda currently makes just shy of that currently, it’s not like we are an FCS team with a dynamite up and comer that makes $700,000 a year. Second, Aranda has a family that he cares greatly about. Why would he want to pack up yet again after only 2 years here for the first NFL team that comes calling, especially when it’s in the same state of the school that you just left?? He said this just a couple of days ago:
LSU officials believe Aranda is happy in Baton Rouge. He and his wife Dione have two daughters, Jaelyn and Jordyn, and a son, Ronin.
“It’s great,” Aranda said Friday when he met with reporters here for the only time this week. “My family loves it here. The kids love their school. My wife has a good network of friends. I enjoy the people I’m working with.”
Dave Aranda will get a DC job in the NFL when he is ready, this isn’t a once in a lifetime opportunity. But there is no reason for him to uproot his family and cause them to have to once again start all over in a new city with new people, especially with his oldest daughter Jaelyn. Ask any military family, they hate moving. No reason why he leaves. Everyone calm down!!!!

Thanks for your insight Ed Orgeron.

Yeah, if the Green Bay fricking Packers want him as their DC he'd be an idiot not to take that job.

Nah. Apparently Joe Alleva and the rest of the athletic department is currently cancer to everyone and every football coach is looking for a way out and Ed Orgerons going to be fired next year no matter what. Like gtfo here it doesn't work like that.

If you're looking to make that leap to the next level, what job would be better than one that is in a state you are already very familiar with?
Save me the coach speak about loving it here. Try to find me a coach who throws out a quote about how dogshit the town he coaches in is.

Considering Aranda is the most important individual to the program, I can understand how people might get slightly nervous about the prospect of him departing.

He's got a son named Ronin? Introducing that kid to a new school will be a painful venture.

Also, Aranda won't be offered the job because he's not even a candidate.
So there's that.
So there's that.
