If Sean Payton wanted to go for it why not just run it like a regular offensive play?

The play call was very confusing to me. You’re going to playoffs so why would you risk injury to your kicker

Maybe he was trying to test lutz toughness. I’m shocked lutz didn’t have to go into the tent. Or even knew his name.

I am still wondering how that kicker was not in the concussion program...I have seen way less contact lead to someone being pulled out of the game and sitting out the next two games....

when i saw the play i said "time to see if they have a back up kicker"

Everyone on this board needs to go watch the replay of the Fake FG again. Tony McDaniel (#76) wiffed on his block. Lutz isn't a 4.5 runner, but he would have easily gotten the first if McDaniel even slows down the defender.
