Rather than using words and reasoning which education gives you, and of which we place so little emphasis on,
We?
Yep, we....
This isn’t just reserved for the black population of Louisiana, but also rural whites, and there is a very common theme that both share when it comes to placing a low emphasis on education and the trashy and often violent and aggressive behavior, and low emphasis on reasoning and using language to settle issues.
The fact that this state suffers so mightily in education cannot simply be placed solely upon the blacks, but also whites, and every one of their educated enablers, and it’s common theme is really just ignorance and a lack of desire to ever better their condition, a condition they, nor those in positions of power and influence have any desire to recognize, much less fix.
There really are some beautiful things within all cultures in this state, things we should preserve, but stupid is not one of them, and yet it’s as much intertwined into many of them as anything else is. It’s actually a point of pride even to sound ignorant, as if that’s something to actually take pride in.

Philosophical arguments over the nature of man.

Or is it usually dumb shite like disrespecting somebody’s cousin and bullets start flying?
I've hired about a half dozen former gang bangers who've done serious time and are now grown up and are now very productive members of society and family men. Sometimes we get in to discussions about crime and murders, and they've all told me it's mostly stupid personal stuff that will get you shot. Drug turf wars are gone, for the most part. It's usually a dispute over a girl or swinging your dick at a club and disrespecting someone or some other stupid shite like that. They say that's how they were raised and how they see kids still being raised. These men are trying to break the cycle, but they admit it's an uphill battle with no easy fixes.

So how do you treat the disease? Take the kids out of shitty home situations
How would I treat the disease?
Well for starters, I'd offer every male between 18 and 40 $10k if they got a vasectomy.
I'd also offer non-capitol offenders a 20% reduction in their sentence length for vasectomy as well.
I'd also limit the child tax credit to 3 kids unless the 4th+ child are from the same father.
For starters.

Extremely low IQs play a major role as well.

How'd you get the balls to hire a bunch of former gang bangers?

So much to say but don’t wanna get banned.
Let me throw this little tidbit out there for consideration.
With such a large percentage of black kids born and raised by only their mother lets consider this scenario
Latricia lives in Gardere. She gets knocked up by Lionel. Lionel ain’t shite and she don’t want him around so she does it all on her own with help from tax payers of course.
Lionel don’t care about Latricia or her baby boy. He gets his! Well he knocked up LaRhonda last year and she a hoe so she ain’t said shite to nobody.
Latricia and LaRhonda both live in N Baton Rouge but they don’t talk. Fast forward 16 years. These two kids are half brother and sister and have no clue, just like most of their peers. Could they possibly end up having a child together? People say white rednecks are the ones inbreeding but there is way more of it happening in the black community both intentionally and unintentionally. Think that creates mental weakness along with other disabilities? All which creates addition hardships in life that decreases its value.
Also let’s talk about a young man growing up without a father. I have 2 boys. One is mine, the other I married his mom when he was 2 and is now 14. I can not imagine where either boys would be in life without a positive adult male influence. My boys live in the country and are pretty shelters but still are constantly pulled in directions That without me being diligent would possibly lead them to poor life choices. With so many fatherless children it is no wonder they grow to become what they become

They want a job and I need strong people to work a hard job. Most of the ones we hire are grateful someone will give them a full-time job with benefits. They’re convicted felons who paid their debt to society and want to get out and stay straight, but their record and lack of education haunts them and holds them back from jobs that pay a living wage.
You can tell when you interview them who is there to temporarily keep their P.O. off their back until they get back to the streets and who is there to learn a skill and be a part of the team/family.

All solid suggestions. So how come this is never brought up in a serious sense?

Elvis warned us back in 69
Slick Rick told a slightly different story in 1988:
quote:
Once upon a time not long ago
When people wore pajamas and lived life slow
When laws were stern and justice stood
And people were behavin' like they ought ta good
There lived a lil' boy who was miss lead
By another lil' boy and this is what he said:
"Me and you, tonight we're gonna make some cash
Robbin' old folks and makin' the dash"
They did the job, money came with ease
But one couldn't stop, it's like he had a disease
He robbed another and another and a sista and her brotha
Tried to rob a man who was a D.T. undercover
The cop grabbed his arm, he started acting erratic
He said "Keep still, boy, no need for static"
Punched him in his belly and he gave him a slap
But little did he know the lil' boy was strapped
The kid pulled out a gun, he said "Why did ya hit me?"
The barrel was set straight for the cop's kidney
The cop got scared, the kid, he starts to figure
"I'll do years if I pull this trigga"
So he cold dashed and ran around the block
Cop radioes it to another lady cop
He ran by a tree, there he saw this sista
A shot for the head, he shot back but he missed her
Looked around good and from expectations
So he decided he'd head for the subway stations
But she was coming and he made a left
He was runnin' top speed till he was outta breath
Knocked an old man down and swore he killed him
Then he made his move to an abandoned building
Ran up the stairs up to the top floor
Opened up the door there, guess who he saw?
Dave the dope fiend shootin' dope
Who don't know the meaning of water nor soap
He said "I need bullets, hurry up, run!"
The dope fiend brought back a spanking shotgun
He went outside but there was cops all over
Then he dipped into a car, a stolen Nova
Raced up the block doing 83
Crashed into a tree near university
Escaped alive though the car was battered
Rat-a-tat-tatted and all the cops scattered
Ran out of bullets and still had static
Grabbed a pregnant lady and pulled out the automatic
Pointed at her head and he said the gun was full o' lead
He told the cops "Back off or honey here's dead"
Deep in his heart he knew he was wrong
So he let the lady go and he starts to run on
Sirens sounded, he seemed astounded
And before long the little boy got surrounded
He dropped his gun, so went the glory
And this is the way I have to end this story
He was only seventeen, in a madman's dream
The cops shot the kid, I still hear him scream
This ain't funny so don't ya dare laugh
Just another case about the wrong path
Straight 'n narrow or yo' soul gets cast
One of Hip Hops' most underrated songs, with lyrics, on Youtube
