You’ve got to be trolling if you think Republicans behavior mimics anything we’ve seen in the last 12 months

Tell me about the sham investigations with the vile emails among the investigators.
Let's see the impeachment votes in the house with no basis for them whatsoever.
Let's see the 90% negative stories from fox, since that is the only major media outlet to offset ALL of the others.
Equal my arse

don't recall efforts to impeach Obama his first year in office.
I mean this is basically what his entire birth certificate scandal was
Also here is a wiki page of impeachment calls for Obama LINK
As for Bush not bad mouthing him, I do agree. Don't think that happened

Republicans were lock step against Obama. There was the debt ceiling fights then Obamacare which really poisoned the well. With Trump it’s absolute hate but you still see Schumer and Pelosi trying to negotiate.

Even if there’s a semblance of resemblance in opposition it’s apples and oranges.
Obama was a communist, gay, Moslem who hated America.
Trump is the savior of the nation, so democrats are wasaaay worse

How many democrats voted for the tax cuts to help American working families?
How many democrats?

their jobs.
You are correct. We are working, productive members of our communities and we have responsibilities to our family and employers. We have taxes to pay and mortgages. We will not pointlessly run around like children to protest something we know we can’t change. We accept that we will have to wait until the next voting cycle comes up to change the situation.
Now let me throw this in. We don’t march and riot. We will sit and take our lick but do not take that to mean we will not ever take to the street
When we have enough and we decide frick it, I don’t care if I loose my job, my freedom and my life, I have fricking had it. When we decide that, as a group, you lib communist are fricked. Once we are pushed across that line, we are coming and hell is coming with us.
Try and come take our guns, take our property for your communist state or mess with our wives and kids and you will see what we are capable of doing.
Note: not meaning this to any specific poster but to libs in general

Democrats are more adamantly against Trump than republicans were against Obama. Much of that increase though is likely due to Trump's abrasive style and willingness to fight back over the smallest slight. We didn't have notable people outright claiming they wanted to blow up or physically harm Obama as we do with Trump.

The average blue collar Republican? No.
We grumbled about the direction the country was headed, lamented about changing morals, and worried for our children. But we carried on with our lives, respecting and having faith in our political process.
This is the key: we accepted the results, and waited for each opportunity at the ballot box to change things.

We certainly opposed Obama as much as liberals oppose Trump
But the actual BEHAVIOR associated with that opposition wasn't remotely comparable

The same. But we sure took a 180 on golf outings since Obama left.

You fricking liar. Republicans asked to be a part of the healthcare bill but Obama told the they had their chance and to go sit in the back of the bus.
Both of them failed to show up when trump invited them to the White House for negotiations.
They have pushed a known lie, a fraud dossier and have attempted a deep state coup through Obama holdovers in the fbi and doj.
Neither can really negotiate with trump because the Clintons have poisoned the base so bad with their campaign talking points about racist and Nazi etc. The base would have a fit. All they want is impeachment, no matter how.
I fricking hate liberal fricks
I swear to God, you motherfrickers believe we are going to allow you to terminate the constitution and bring communism to America. It’s not going to go like you think we won’t bring socks with locks in them.

Against/opposed to his policies? Pretty much.
Visceral hatred of the man personally? Not remotely.

Hell. I'll even let them get away with saying we hated Obama as much
But the actual BEHAVIOR simply wasn't in the same universe
