He wasn't implicated in the Baylor scandal.
He worked in an offensive system that lit up the Big 12 consistently and had great success against OOC opponents.
He just spent a year with Lane Kiffin getting more info and experience calling plays.

Apparently Art has been serving as an informal advisor to Kiffin and Briles Jr. this season for FAU. So if we get Kendal we’ll probably get Art’s input as well.
