and please don't misunderstand me for picking sides

Because if that same couple tried to make a Muslim restaurant serve them pork, I would still be right here defending the Muslim restaurant the right to REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE

then again I'm just some Neo-Nazi from Arkansas (I'm white and from the south) so I don't know 2 shits about the world and my cousins hot, ignore me on this board

Easy way to fix this: all bakeries that don't mind baking gay wedding cakes have a pink triangle in the front window. Problem solved. No more frivolous litigation.

Then why is it right to force a christian business to go against their religion.

Just a simple answer from you will do

edit* I don't post a ton here, but from lurking and seeing your post here, I'm going to try and keep it civil with you

What would really make it interesting would be to go wearing a dress and heels with your "husband" and order pork. Married trans homo's ordering pork in a halal restaurant, one for the text books my friends!

actually you know - as I was taking a quick shower; I thought to myself, Muslims don't believe in the gays either.

So why doesn't a gay couple just go into a Muslim bakery and do the exact same thing. When the Muslims don't serve the gay cake to the couple, would you agree with the supreme court to force the muslim bakery to make me a gay cake or pay 135k for emotional damages?

Well they raised almost half a million dollars thru one Go Fund Me drive. They may have had others, I can't remember. Regardless, they can afford the fine with the windfall they've received.

Both sides in this suck.

Money to be never seen.

All the judge did was put an American family out of business.

Enjoy paying for their welfare Judge.

They probably passed 10 bakeries that would've loved to bake them a cake. Victims looking for a crime.

Don’t think that will fly in Oregon. I think if you have a bakery/or any retail there you have to serve anyone even if it conflicts with your religious beliefs.

Maybe. Seems this was an Oregon court. When it gets to the federal level it gets thrown out

All of their legal help is pro bono through Alliance Defending freedom or some other evangelical right wing law group.

It's called Jizya in Muslim countries and damages for emotional distress in liberal western ones...

I don't understand why these bakeries don't take the order, tell them they have to make them a special cake so it'll cost an extra 20% and then just fill it with chili powder or something... It's not THAT HARD

ETA: but I guess if they did this they couldn't create a go fund me and profit off snowflake'ing
