By copper do you mean twisted pair? And in our plant, the first of year we're launching a gig over coax (Docsis 3.1) we run 250 over coax easy now.

Don't do it
They claim they use gigafiber or whatever bullshite but they run their internet through 150 year old telephone lines and it drops all the time

I had uverse and internet from att for about 3 years. Uverse seemed to go out once every week or 2 for about 10 minutes at a time. 3 of those times we had to have att come replace equipment and were without tv for 2 to 3 days. To some that's no big deal, but with kids in the house it's hell. On a plus side, their customer service is easy to get ahold of, they dont argue with you and are quick to credit your bill for their mistakes. 6 months ago we changed to direct tv and have had no issues. We kept art internet since we have rarely had any issues with the it. Since then our bill has dropped from 190 something to 130 something and we have almost all of the same channels.

AT&T Fiber (previously called GigaPower) internet is glorious. I get 250-300 Mbps down and up all throughout my house over WiFi.
Fiber internet is $80/ month for the next 12 months. We have DirecTV Now (100 channel package) for $35/month.

Currently paying $125 for Fiber 1000/1000 and U300, one box.

With net neutrality gone, I would learn to live without the Internet. Per the OT - you will soon pay $500 a month for 10Mb down.

Unless its Att gigabit don't bother. It's trash. They all are. Every sing one of them.

Have 12mb U-Verse internet...TV not offered but wouldn't take even if it was.
$57 per month
Service...fairly frequent drops...Have had at least 3 instances where service was out for a week.
If there was competition, I would consider another carrier.
In defense of ATT, I live 10 miles outside of Monroe so I should probably be happy with their crappy service and lack of decent speed.

uverse, gigabite fiber and digital phone for 128.00 a month, and got a 300.00 gift card for a 2 year commitment. Couldn't be happier and told Cox to eat crap and die............
