FLASHBACK: Falcons shredded us last year in the Dome with 6 TDs

The Saints Defense will definitely be better this year and hopefully takes this game a little more personal. There was a 17 minute (2nd-3rd qtr)stretch where 4 TDs were scored and the melt was on.

Vastly improved defense. Saints got freakin' railroaded by the refs in the last meeting between the two and were without their most dynamic playmaker and still had a chance to win.

Just to head off any potential bell aching about this game, the head ref is the same one who officiated the '09 NFCCG according to a tweet I saw.

they killed us in the flats with passes and tosses to the RBs.

yes... Pete Morelli did referee the 2009-10 NFC Championship Game
but that's not with his normal crew... playoff ref crews are jumbled "all star" crews of the best rated officials at their respective position

Remembered starting both Freeman and Coleman in my fantasy league knowing our D was trash and sure enough they shredded us
