One of the best decisions you'll ever make. Expensive, but well worth it.

Damn. Mine is -8.75 and -8.5 and I have the worst vision of anyone i've ever met. I entertained it, but I can put a pair of contacts in and forget them for a month at a time.

Witnessed someone go from 20/180 to the next day after surgery, 20/20 vision.....

How much does it go for these days? Paid like $3200 12 years ago for the premium option.

What is the "premium option?" Happy ending?

Completely worth it. Enjoy!

Ha no. There was a cheaper option to do the procedure with a blade instead of a laser. Never cut cost when it comes to your vision.

Damn I was hoping the cost went down. I need to get Lasik for my wife.
It was the best money I have spent for myself when I got it done.

Holy crap -10...Dude.
Mine was -5 when I had it done in 2009...think it ran 17-1800 for the generic laser option...you could pay upwards of 2400 for a specialized one where they mapped your eyeball and cut you based on it...
Heard the custom laser operation could get results in the 20/15 range...I'm between there and 20/20.
Best money I've ever spent...I had it done by Dr. Singer in Metairie

I'll be getting lens replacememt in both eyes early next year. Not looking forward to it although everyone I've spoken with says it's not a big deal....including my mother who had it at 79 years old.
Regarding lasik, my exwife had RK back in the 1990's. By hand, they cut 15 slices on one eye and 8 on the other....BY HAND! She was brave but, like you, she needed eye help. Good luck....it's way easier nowadays.
