For me it’s Shaquille, and primarily because I’ve been able to watch him over the years in relevance. There are other Tigers I enjoyed watching more during their eligibility, but ol’ Shaq is timeless and still represents the purple and gold. I bet a lot of Auburn fans would pick Sir Charles for the same reason..

If I can only take one it's Hester. Dude actually had an impact on my life - watching him play in grade school helped turn me towards sports instead of chess club.

Essay dominated the Notre Dame Defensive line in 1971! Amazing performance.

Very few baseball players on the list, and from a school with a strong baseball history.

I saw a Ben McDonald, Warren Morris, and a Dreadlocks of Doom (better known for football).

Looks like no one picked Todd Walker, Alex Bregman, Albert Bell, Kim Mulkey Jr. or any of the many other great non-Ben pitchers.

Bregman and Belle have for sure been mentioned.

Extremely tough:

Maybe Vernel Singleton with his band aids

Perhaps Dalton Hilliard

But Warren Morris gave me the sports moment of my life similar to Cannon's punt return for an earlier generation. Watching Miami's Alex Cora face down in the grass crying is like Conan the Barbarian saying the greatest joy is seeing your enemies driven before you and hearing the lamentations of the women and children.

When Devin White stuffs a running back on 4th and 2 to beat Bama next year he may elevate to #1

Missed that. Were they just on a list by folks who refused to pick one, or were they actually picked as someone’s favorite?

Watching Michael Clayton run routes was like poetry in motion.
